PERSONAL TRAINER

The Personal Trainer at the Ridgewood YMCA is responsible for delivering personalized training sessions designed to help clients achieve their fitness goals, whether it’s improving overall wellness, enhancing athletic performance, supporting weight loss, or increasing quality of life. This role requires a motivated, customer-focused professional who can assess client needs, create customized workout plans, and provide guidance in a supportive and encouraging environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter committed to maintaining high customer service standards while adhering to the Ridgewood Y’s established procedures and protocols.

MASSAGE THERAPIST

The Massage Therapist will provide effective therapeutic massage/bodywork tailored to clients’ needs, promoting overall wellness. This role requires a self-starter committed to high customer service standards and adherence to Ridgewood Y’s established procedures and protocols.

FITNESS CENTER DIRECTOR

The Fitness Center Director will lead and manage the operations of our fitness center, overseeing the fitness center floor staff, personal trainers, massage therapists, and group exercise instructors. This role is responsible for managing the department’s operations and budget while ensuring an exceptional fitness experience for our members. Additionally, the director will oversee equipment maintenance and facility upkeep, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment that supports the health and wellness of all members.

ASSISTANT SWIM TEAM COACH

Part Time

The YMCA is seeking experienced and dedicated coaches to help provide leadership, instruction and motivation for the participants in our swim team program. The Y is a leading nonprofit for strengthening community, and the nation’s largest provider of swimming instruction to increase skills, safety, and confidence of swimmers both in and out of the water.  Give back to your community, help us empower our swimmers – join us!

YMCA Camp Bernie is a branch of the Ridgewood YMCA located just an hour from Ridgewood, NJ.
